Since 1971, ODC has celebrated a love of movement, an abiding belief in the healing and stimulating power of art, and a deep commitment to an engaged and inspired community. In the past year, the generosity of individual donors has enabled ODC to:
- Award performance tickets, space rental, and class subsidies and scholarships valued at $128,980 to low-income artists, youth, and community members through ODC’s Arts Access Program
- Provide virtual services, programming and resources at no cost to more than 700 community members through the Healthy Dancers’ Clinic
- Equip our studios to support digital capture and broadcasting for ODC and Bay Area artists’ programming, helping to sustain and nurture the hard-hit community of artists
- Surprise and delight 1,100+ young children and their educators with free access to our Velveteen Rabbit Virtual Field Trip
And we’re just getting started. In the coming year, we’ll be launching new programs and resources - both digital and in-person - to move hearts, bodies, and minds in entirely new and healthy ways.
