About the InnerState Project
The InnerState Project was conceived by ODC Theater and brings together a lively consortia of presenters and dance artists throughout California committed to tackling obstacles that in recent years have significantly challenged both the aesthetic range and long term viability of regional dance touring.

Over a three year term, InnerState will bring artistic excellence to communities excited by concert dance that traditionally have had limited access. In so doing, we will explore and develop new models that promote shared activity among presenters of diverse capacities, and offer professional/career advancement opportunities to artists practicing within and outside California’s major urban centers. The InnerState Project includes lead presenters in the cities of San Luis Obispo, Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Temecula, Ukiah, and Willits.
