House Special links between the Mentorship Programs of the ODC School and Theater. Pilot is the primary means for emerging artists and mature artists who are new to our community to introduce themselves to ODC Theater. Each year the Theater Director curates House Special, a two-week space residency for carte blanche art making that culminates in an evening of open process public showings. House Special heralds the introduction of artists the Theater plans to incubate the following year in its Residency Program. Of the first nine artists to be invited into House Special over the last three years, six were Pilot alumni.
