12 dance artists, 4 nights of performances, 1 award of $10,000, 1 vote--you be the judge! Dedicated to nurturing new dance works through the involvement of the audience and a panel of experts, The A.W.A.R.D. Show! will give the winner a $10,000 cash prize; the two runners-up receive $1,000 to use toward the creation of new dance work. The A.W.A.R.D. Show!
is a national program in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle and Philadelphia.

For San Francisco's installation of The A.W.A.R.D. Show!, three preliminary evenings (Jan 12-14) will feature the work of four choreographers per night—12 promising contemporary choreographers total. After each performance, engage in a dialogue with the artists, then vote on your favorite! A finalist from each night will move onto the final round on January 15 where a panel of experts in dance and the arts, along with the audience, will choose the winner of the $10,000 cash prize! Each night, we invite you to join us at a post-performance reception with the artists and fellow audience members.
