Enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres and an intimate one-hour performance of some of ODC's most celebrated works. ODC choreographers Brenda Way and KT Nelson will be there to shed some light on the dancing you'll see on stage.

Brenda Way's newest work, Waving Not Drowning (A Guide to Elegance), is a wry consideration of fashion, manners and movement that delighted audiences at Dance Downtown last March. Award-winning vocalist Pamela Z loops and layers a 1960s French etiquette text into a witty tuneful work.

Choreographer: KT Nelson | Music: Marcelo Zarvos
"Nelson's choreography bears the company's trade-mark high energy intricacy, the kind of fast-moving and complex work that demands boldness" (Contra Costa Times). A commissioned score by Marcelo Zarvos offers a rousing, rhythmic contrast to the full company's festive lyricism.
