With the opening of our new facility, we will be launching new programming which will truly embed our new artists in residence within our community. We invite our community to consider your participation in ODC Theater and tell us how you would like us to be a part of your daily lives with or without performance. Additionally, we will be expanding our art gallery and opening a new café which we hope that our community will enjoy as a gathering place for new ideas and informal conversations.
ODC Theater’s main purpose is to offer a space for the expression of our community’s cultural values. We have been able to forge rich relationships with other community organizations including The Black Choreographer’s Festival, The Gay Men’s Chorus, Fresh Meat Productions, Asian Improve Arts, The Living Words Project and Youth Speaks. In addition to our role as a presenter we thrive in our connection with the community and neighborhood and are always available for community meetings and public conversations.
