DANCE IN THE CARNAVAL SF PARADE WITH OUR AWARD WINNING CARNAVAL CONTINGENT!
Join us to participate in the 35th Annual Carnaval SF Parade, a colorful multicultural celebration of dance and music featuring hundreds of dancers, musicians and colorful floats moving through the San Francisco's historic Mission District.
As the Contemporary/Fusion Grand Prize Winners of the Carnaval SF Parade 2012, ODC, Rhythm & Motion, and Latin Dance Grooves plan to make an even bigger splash in 2013!
Latin Dance Grooves' choreography creatively integrates a variety of Latin traditional and popular dance styles to music combining traditional drums with contemporary sounds. This award winning contingent has established itself as a prominent feature in the Carnaval parade ~ dancing continuously throughout the entire Parade route, exciting audiences along the way with their interactive and joyous presentations. As one audience member commented "When your army starts down that street, it's like an earthquake/tidal wave coming on!"
Whether you’re a Carnaval veteran, a beginner, or somewhere in between, we invite you to join the fun! All ages and levels welcome!
