About the Project Bring On The Lumière! is an evening-length multimedia dance theater performance starring Christine Bonansea and Marina Fukushima, inspired by the Lumiere Brothers, the French founders of cinema. Bring On The Lumière! premiered at ODC November 11-13, 2011 and is a collaboration between choreographer/director Catherine Galasso and lighting designer/installation artist Elaine Buckholtz. The project was awarded a Fund For Artists Matching Commission from the San Francisco Foundation in 2010, followed by residencies at ODC and Headlands Center for the Arts.
