Directions from the North Bay - If you are traveling from the North Bay take the Golden Gate Bridge/US 101 South towards San Francisco. Take Lombard Street to Gough Street. Take a right on Gough and continue all the length of Gough Street, crossing Market Street. Jog to the right and cross under the freeway, you will be on Mission Street. Take a left on 17th Street and go 2 blocks. You will see the ODC Theater on your right at Shotwell Street, the Dance Commons is half a block to the right on Shotwell Street. To get to the parking lot, take a left on Shotwell Street.
Directions from the South Bay – if you are traveling from the South Bay, take US 101 North towards San Francisco. Take the Vermont Street exit, taking an immediate left for one block to 17th Street. Take a left on 17th Street and continue to Shotwell street, between Folsom and South Van Ness. Our campus is located on Shotwell Street between 17th and 18th Streets, the parking lot is on your right at 17th and Shotwell.
From the East Bay: Take I-80 West/Bay Bridge towards San Francisco. Take the 9th St. exit towards Harrison St. Left on Harrison St. Right on 16th Street. Left on Shotwell St.
• A two-hour parking limit will begin to be enforced on Shotwell Street starting January 21, 2014. Only residential permit holders will be able to park longer than two hours.
• Metered parking will be installed in the coming months on both 17th and 18th Streets between Folsom and South Van Ness.
• These changes anticipate the closing of the lot on 17th and Shotwell which will happen in two stages: the southern half will become a public park after the installation of a storm water runoff catchment basin beginning sometime this year. The northern half is slated to close in 2016 for construction of public housing units by the City.
